The annual Junior Section Presentation evening will be held on Friday 19th September 2025 in the main function hall at Hesketh Park.
Everyone welcome to attend and listen to the manager’s reviews of the season and congratulate the winners and everyone who played this season.
Here’s some of the winners from last season!
On Wednesday,6th August, KP Snacks celebrated the installation of their 100th non turf pitch at Charlton Park in Greenwich. The celebration event includes a community cricket match, with stars from London Spirit and Oval Invincibles playing with local community members. England men and women’s players playing and a lot of media!
Our Ladies team attended the event and socialised with famous names for both the ladies and men’s Hundred teams.
It was a fantastic event and the ladies had a brilliant time!
This year’s Cricket Summer Camps have now finished.
They were a great success and all the children attending had a fantastic time and a lot of fun.
Many thanks to our great coaches: Sam Rogerson, Barney, Surge, Izyan and Ayaan who helped out everyday over the two weeks.
The Club is delighted to announce that Mrs Pat Lippiatt and Surge Singh Birring, two of our Life Members, have been recognised by Kent County Cricket Club for their volunteering services to the game of cricket in the County.
Pat has been awarded the Lifetime Achiever Award defined as “that one individual who has given many years service to your club or community group and who you could not do without”.
Surge has been awarded the Cricket Innovators Award defined as “someone who has brought new ideas and/or implemented new systems to improve your club or community group”
These Awards form part of the fifteen awards promoted under the ECB “Cricket Collective Awards” initiative where each county nominates their respective fifteen recipients for national recognition by the ECB later in the year. Obviously we wish both Pat and Surge every success in the outcome of those national awards.

Dartford Cricket Club will be hosting a Softball Cricket Summer Camp starting on Monday 28 July 2025 to Friday 1st August 2025. Times will be 10am to 4pm each day.
The camp is designed for boys and girls aged 5- 11 years of age including beginners.
Daily Sessions are just £30 and the weekly pass is £120.
The camp will be run by qualified ECB coaches with an emphasis on fun activities and cricket coaching to improve the children knowledge, skills and teamwork.
Dartford Cricket Club will be hosting a Hardball Cricket Summer Camp starting on Monday 4th August 2025 to Friday 8th August 2025. Times will be 10am to 4pm each day.
The camp is designed for boys and girls aged 9 years of age and above who have some experience of playing hardball cricket.
Daily Sessions are just £30 and the weekly pass is £120.
The camp will be run by qualified ECB coaches with an emphasis on fun activities and cricket coaching to improve the children knowledge, skills and teamwork.
Dartford CC have scheduled new Sunday morning sessions for any juniors who would like to try cricket and develop their skills and knowledge on a weekly pay & play basis.
We have qualified ECB coaches who will be running these weekly sessions through the Spring & Summer seasons.

Word has reached us that our friend and former player Steve “Tommy” Gunner has recently suffered a stroke. The impact has left Tommy partially paralysed down one side of his body and he is currently recovering in hospital where he will receive sustained occupational therapy.
Many of us will remember Tommy as a dynamic wicket-keeper batsman of the highest order and a regular in the first XI until his journey to Leeds some twenty-five years ago.
Please join me in wishing Tommy a full and speedy recovery.
