DEMENTIA AWARENESS EVENING – 11TH NOVEMBER 2025
Dartford Cricket Club – Free Dementia Awareness Session
📅 Date: Monday 11th November 2025 – 7pm Start.
📍 Venue: Hesketh Park Pavilion
Dear Member,
On behalf of Dartford Cricket Club, I would like to cordially invite you to a free Dementia Awareness Session that is being run for the club by one of our key sponsors, Home Instead Dartford.
We believe this is a truly valuable opportunity for our members and the wider community. The one-hour workshop will cover important topics such as:
- Understanding Dementia: What the condition is and how it affects people.
- Early Signs: How to recognize the early signs of dementia.
- Positive Impact: The difference early detection can make for both the individual and their family.
With over 900,000 people living with dementia in the UK, it is a condition that likely affects many of us or our loved ones. This session, led by Home Instead’s Dementia Champion Ram, will consist of an appr. 45min presentation followed by Q&A time.
This event is open to all members, as well as their family and friends. We do, however, need to limit attendance to a maximum of 100 people. To help us with our planning, please register your interest by book your free place below.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Kind regards,
Harry Bright
Chairman, Dartford Cricket Club
