The people that really matter in the club are those who volunteer and get involved. Dartford’s Junior Academy is proud to be a warm, welcoming, family-orientated and friendly environment. There is a culture of parental involvement, and we all take pride in the club and the sporting opportunities it provides to the community.

With over 150 juniors currently, there are approximately 300 parents who will be watching their children play cricket at the club for many years to come as they grow older. So why not play an active part and get involved?

There are many small pivotal roles that make a huge difference to the running of the club. Whether it be on the field in cricket-related roles (training provided!), or behind the scenes assisting club development! Here are some examples:

Scoring   Umpiring
Junior team co-ordinator   Coach or assistant
Parents Focus Group representative   Sponsorship manager
Welfare officer   Marketing and communications
Social event co-ordinators   Women and girls co-ordinator
Fundraising   Catering
Photographer   Facilities maintenance
Grounds maintenance   Finance/administration

No matter what your professional skills or experience are, they can help us in some way! So please come forward. We are passionate about the sporting opportunities we provide, please be passionate about making a difference!
